MICHAEL BURNS
DIRECTOR, NUTRITION SERVICES
FULLERTON SCHOOL DISTRICT

Michael Burns started working in schools 17 years ago. His ride started in El Monte SD promoting nutrition and physical activity for 5 years, and switched gears to feeding school children as an Assistant Director for 2 years. He loved it so much that he decided to take a dangerous road and move into a directors position at Covina Valley USD for 7 years. That was so much fun he decided to ride over to Fullerton SD as Director for an additional 3 years. HIs ride continues within Fullerton, happily feeding the children great food, promoting wellness, and judging School Lunch Hero winners.
